It is our immense and great pleasure to announce that Neuroscience Society of Nepal has become a new member of FAONS (Federation of the Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Societies with effective from 19th March 2018.
On behalf of the Council of the Federation of the Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Societies (FAONS), the president - Professor Sung-Oh Huh ( President of The Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences (KSBNS)2019) has confirmed our status as a new member society.
FAONS promotes the advancement of neuroscience research and education in Asian countries, Australia, New Zealand and Islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans
Being a member of the Federation, NSN has now entered the international forum, and aims to contribute to the advancement of neuroscience worldwide besides our homeland.
We strongly believe that membership of FAONS will make our society a member of the worldwide network of neuroscience community.
Once again, I would like to thank all the NSN members for helping to achieve this milestone.
