IBRO-APRC Nepal School on Understanding of Neuroscience and Spectrum of Neurogenetic Disorders

This IBRO-APRC Nepal School 2020 will include hands-on training with the theme “Understanding of Neuroscience and Spectrum of Neurogenetic Disorders”. It will provide participants with practical knowledge of state of the art on karyotyping, immunohistochemistry and neuroinformatics. As well as demonstrating methods – PCR,  next-generation sequencing to understand the subcellular basis of neuronal functions and pathologies especially in neurogenetic disorders. The School features didactic lectures, plenary lectures, hands-on specific lectures on genetics, electrophysiology and molecular biology and scientific seminars illustrating how these can be used for answers to the causes of neurological disorders.

Who should apply to this School?

Medical MSc/MD in Basic medical sciences/Neuroscience; Ph.D. students working in neuroscience. Please note that students from the Asian-Pacific region are only eligible to apply.

What costs will be covered for selected applicants?

Travel, lodging, lunch and breakfast, excursions and special welcome dinner.
